The statistics through week 5 have now been uploaded.  320 people have played in the 8-Ball so far, and a slightly larger number have played in the 9-Ball.  There have been some interesting results, and some good divisional races are shaping up.  Once again, please be reminded that I can not enter a score until I have received it.  I need the scoresheet from at least 1 of the 2 teams playing 8-Ball, and a simple text message listing the final score from at least 1 of the 2 teams in 9-Ball.  Missing results are either postponed matches or instances where neither team gave me the result.

A lot of people have been badly effected by the floods in the area, and many others are pre-occupied with preparing for a worst-case scenario.  My deepest sympathies to those that have suffered losses.  This city has survived more than its share of hardship over the last decade.  Please be careful out there.

A large number of people who play in the league will be traveling to Jakarta at some point this week for the First Annual Asia Expat Pool Tournament.  People will be leaving Bangkok for Jakarta at varying times, but please remember to first postpone your matches for this week if it is neccessary.  I will be leaving for Jakarta on Wednesday, and will not be back in Bangkok until Monday.  That means the results for week 6 will not be uploaded until I return, collect the data, enter it, and put it up on the site.  My apologies in advance for any inconvenience.  Team Bangkok will be playing in Jakarta against Team Jakarta in the inaugural event.  Roughly 60 people are expected to be making the trip.  Next year, the event will be in Bangkok, with Jakarta and another major Asian city coming here for it.  If anyone has an interest in joining in on what promises to be a lot of fun, please let me know.
