Week 11 of the Pool League will be remembered for a lot of things, but pool will not be one of them. In 8 Ball, 6 of the 21 matches were actually played. In 9-Ball, none of the matches have been played. There is no real point in updating the standings, as the number of missing matches would just be confusing.
There is a month left in the season, so everyone has plenty of time to re-schedule any of the missing matches. I will hold off on updating week 11 until the majority of the results are in. Please simply get me the scoresheets (8-Ball) or text me with the final score(9-Ball).
The curfew could be history by Monday, but please check the latest news information on that. News about curfew extensions, as well as the times, seem to be fluctuating a bit. Most of us are really looking forward to getting our lives back to normal and more than a little tired of staying home. I would expect that week 12 will go off well if we are allowed to play, a lot of steam will get blown off, and parties will break out at many of the matches. We can all use a bit of celebrating.
The season is scheduled to finish by June 9th, and the Season-Ending Singles Tournament is still scheduled for June 19th. I am expecting that those with postponed or cancelled matches will have been able to make them up by then. We can extend things out if neccessary, but it would be easier not to.
