The standings through week 4 have been updated. Have a look. Actually, this is the first week this season that the forms were submitted in time to be done for the week-end. There are still a few missing forms, and a few postponed matches that need to be made up. For the most part, though, this season seems to be preceeding rather smoothely. Over 600 people have played so far, and the feedback I have been getting has been really good. 8-Ball: As expected, the 5 teams that comprise the 9-Ball Gold division are leading their respective divisions. Newcomers Country Road and Oasis 2 are deadlocked at the top of the other division. 9-Ball: Some surprising results here so far, with most of the divisional races pretty tight as we approach the halfway point. Cocktail Club, in the Silver division, seems to be the only team with a comfortable lead. Players names: If anyone notices a mistake, typo, misspelling or any other problem with a team or player in the current standings, please let me know. I made several changes last week, and this weeks's stats should be accurate. I simply need it brought to my attention. The Brunswick 9-Ball Open Tournament: The tournament took place over 4 days last weekend at The Ball In Hand, with some of the top players in the world taking part. I watched some great matches. I counted 16 players in the field that have played in the Bangkok Pool League. Congratulations to Bob (Sports Academy) and Courtney (The Players), who both made it into the the main draw and had impressive wins against top world-class professionals. WEEK 6: There are no games scheduled for week 6. Instead, we will be holding a mid-season tournament at The Ball In Hand at Times Square. It will be a team tournament designed to test out a new playing format. Participation is optional, but we are hoping for a good turn-out. Individual players who show up will be assigned a team to play for, and those that show up as a complete team can play together. It is expected to be a fun evening. Interdivisional Play: There seems to be some confusion regarding scheduled interdivisional games during the regular season. Please be advised that these games DO indeed count in the standings. Photo Gallery: More pictures have been added to the gallery. Thanks to John from Salute Bar for adding to the list of contributors. If you do not see your picture, just bring a camera to your next match. The Website: The website is back to avaraging over 1,000 hits, and the number continues to grow every week.
