Will is now back from his sojourn to Laos, and we are starting to get caught up on the standings.  Week 2's results are now in, and the shape of the divisional standings is starting to show.  There are still some minor adjustments to be made, but we will eventually get it right.  There are still some missing score sheets, which will explain why some teams results are not up to date.  Once again, PLEASE try to get them in as soon as possible.  I need them in by Friday afternoons in order to get the site updated in time for the week-end.  Please also be reminded that the fax number is now 02-691-5149.

The new season has started rather well, and I have not had any problems to speak of.  People are enjoying themselves, and there have also been some great matches.  In 9-Ball last week, Hillary Bar brought 8 people in to The Players to face 8 of their players in a match that was not decided until 2-2 in the 8th match.  Players pulled it out, 5-3.  Moonshine came out of Larry's Dive with what would appear to be a lopsided 8-0 win.  5 of the matches went to 3-2, though, and in 3 cases Larry's Dive went up to a 2-0 lead before managing to pull out the loss.  Dubliner and Hideaway Jack played to a 4-4 draw, but both team captains chose to play a decider rather than come away with a draw.  Dubliner came away with the win.  There were several draws on the week(7 out of the 17 games played), and also some lopsided victories that, in many cases, were not quite as one-sided as the score would indicate.  In 9-Ball, which was designed more along competitive lines, there are only 5 teams that remain unbeaten and untied after only 2 weeks of play.  Please remember to let me know if anything noteworthy happens during any of your matches so I can post it here in the future.

The Website:  The hits to the site have literally doubled since the season began, and the visits are coming from close to 40 countries.  The world seems to be watching.  Please remember to visit this site at least once a week, as any changes, issues, etc will be posted here.

Registered Bars:  Please also be reminded to register your bar on the site.  Will is a most agreeable fellow, and can assist you with any logo you want to to put up.  All it might take is a few free drinks.
