The site server was down for a few days.  Sorry for the inconvenience, but it is now back up again. It is only the 2nd time it has happened since this site has been up.

The stats through week 9 are now in.  There is a small problem in the 9-Ball standings because of the team changes, but it will be sorted out soon.  Only those teams involved in the changes are affected, and the figures are accurate.

There is a new website that many players in the league might be interested in.  It is designed for people to be able to buy and sell pool cues, cases, etc, and there is a forum where people can post ideas, suggestions, opinions, etc.  It is not affiliated with the Bangkok Pool League, but is run by a local player who does play in the league.  I think it complements this site well.  Check it out at www.poolbkk.com.

Sunday, 18 October 2009

The standings through week 8 have now been applied.  There are still a few missing results and postponed matches that have yet to be played.

CHANGES:  There have been a few changes re the schedule.  I will notify the teams involved each week, but please make note.

8-Ball:  TOXIC, who replaced Chill Chill at the start of the season, has dropped out of 8-Ball only.  Their spot on the schedule is being replaced by The COUNTRY ROAD on Sukhumvit Soi 5, above Foodland.  SHOOTERS has also dropped out of the league.  Their place in the schedule is being replaced with BALI HUGH.  Bali Hugh is a newly opened bar on Sukhumvit, between Dubliners and Soi 22.

9-Ball:  SHOOTERS spot in the schedule is being replaced by The COUNTRY ROAD on Sukhumvit, soi 5, above Foodland.

With the completion of week 8, most of the divisional races remain petty tight.  None of the winners have yet been determined.

In 8-Ball, Big mango currently enjoys a 3-point lead in the tan division.  Hillary Bar and Roadhouse have 2 point leads in the Blue and Green Divisions.  In 9-Ball, The Players has a 3 game lead in the Red Division, as Does Oasis 2 in the Blue Division.  The Green and Tan divisions remain pretty tight.

This site keeps hitting new heights each week in terms of hits.  People from over 60 countries have found their way here.  426 people have played in the 8-Ball so far this season, and the number is about the same in 9-Ball.  We keep growing.
