 This is nothing to do with pool I'm afraid, but here goes. Merv Hughes is in town this weekend and is doing the usual after dinner speech circuit. As a bonus he will be partaking of a few beers and no doubt sharing a few stories at the Green Parrot, Sunday afternoon from 3pm. He will be the guest of Siam Cricket Club and we will be auctioning a few bits and bobs in aid of youth cricket here in the Land of Smiles. The Bangkok Pool League governing committee will be meeting this Sunday, September 30, at 6:30 PM. The venue will be The Down Under Sports Bistro on Sukhumvit Soi 23. Any league participant interested in attending will be welcome. Among the items to be discussed are this season to date, expectations for next season, the playoff formula, the website, and a number of other issues.
