 This is a reminder to everyone that there are only 4 weeks remaining in the regular season. We begin the playoffs immediately afterwards. Week 10's figures have now been posted. Of the 13 9-Ball matches played(there was one postponed match), 5 were 4-4 draws, 6 were 5-3 wins, 1 went 6-2 and 1 went 7-1. Of the 104 individual player matches, 42 went either 3-2 or 4-3. Great competition. More importantly, a lot of parties broke out afterwards.

 The league committee has determined the formula for the playoffs. The top 4 teams in each division will compete for the divisional championship. The 1st place team will host the 4th place team, and the 2nd place team will host the 3rd place team. This will be in week 15(Wednesday, November 14th.) The winners will advance to week 16, with the higher seeded team playing at home. The winners will be the Divisional Champions for the league for the fall 2007 season. Trophies will be awarded to all Divisional Champions.
The bottom 3 teams will compete in a round robin tournament to determine a plate winner for each division. In week 15, the 5th place team and the 6th place team in each division will play at the 7th place team's venue. In week 16, the 5th place team and the 7th place team will play at the 6th place team's venue. On Friday, November 23rd, The 6th place team and the 7th place team will play at the 5th place team's venue. Each divisional plate winner will receive a trophy.

 The league committee has finalized the formula for the playoffs. The top 4 teams in each division will compete for the league championship, and the bottom 4 teams will compete for the plate. In the league championship playoffs, the 1st place team will host the 4th place team and the 2nd place team will host the 3rd place team. In the league plate finals, the 5th place team will host the 8th place team and the 6th place team will host the 7th place team. These games will be in week 15, (Monday, November 12th). The winners will advance to week 16(Monday, November 19th), with the higher seeded team playing at home.
Once a divisional winner and plate winner has been determined, a round robin tournament will be held at a neutral venue on Saturday the 24th(Plate) and Sunday the 25th(Championship). All divisional winners will receive trophies, but only one plate trophy will be awarded(to the winner of the round robin tournament.)
The singles tournament will be held at the Ball In Hand, Times Square, on Saturday, December 1.

Det 5 will be showing the Semi Final between England and France LIVE!, at 02:00 a.m. on Sunday morning (14 October). Kitchen will stay open, the bell will ring and - hopefully - England will beat Les Blues ... All welcome! |
